Beaches

For more family-oriented beach time, you’re spoilt for choice in Torremolinos. La Carihuela, Playamar and Bajondilo beaches are perfect for kids of all ages, with cafés, sunbeds, play areas and loads of opportunities to get out on the sea on a sailboat or pedalo.

Family Fun

As well as fabulous beaches, things to do in Torremolinos for families include Aqualand, the Costa Del Sol’s biggest water park. Kids can enjoy a day filled with adventure on the rides and slides, while grown-ups relax in the sun or join in the fun!

Nightlife

Torremolinos was the first developed Costa Del Sol resort, and as such has become a bit of a clubbers’ haven with top international DJs frequenting the huge clubs.

Getting Around in Costa Del Sol

From the Airport

Malaga airport has good transport links with the entire Costa del Sol. You can get to Malaga on the frequent trains or buses which depart from the airport - trains take about 10 minutes and buses about half an hour.

Bus

• Buses run from Malaga’s bus station at Paseo de los Tilos to Marbella, Estepona, Granada, Córdoba, and Seville (among others).

Train

• Malaga’s train station is next door to the bus station. Trains from Malaga run from the city along the coast to Fuengirola, via Torremolinos and Marbella.
• You can find train timetables at www.renfe.es.

Taxi

• Taxis can be flagged down in the street or found at taxi ranks around the Costa Del Sol resorts.
• When a taxi is available, it will display a sign on the windscreen reading “Libre” or a green light on top of the roof.

Car

• Hiring a car is a great way to explore the Costa del Sol more independently and at your own pace!
• There are loads of car rental agencies, both at Malaga airport and in the main resorts.
• The N340 motorway travels across the coast, making it easy to find your way around even if you’re not familiar with the area. Most of the Costa Del Sol resorts are within a 2-hour drive, or even less.
