Top things to do in Dublin

Nature Lovers

Dublin offers plenty of opportunities to escape the bustle of the city and see the “real” Ireland – the rugged cliffs, wild landscapes and beautiful nature of the country’s less inhabited regions.

Take a trip to the “Wild” West Coast and you’ll feel a million miles away from civilisation; no more so than in Connemara, one of only two places in Ireland where sheep have the right of way over cars on the road!

If getting out in the open is your thing, visit the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland's most famous natural wonders and full of beautiful flora and fauna that only grow in this special ecosystem.

(Drinking) Culture

There’s no escaping the Irish cultural stereotype of enjoying a “jar” or two, and there’s nowhere you can find out more about this national sport than the original home of Ireland’s best-known export; The Guinness Storehouse

Famous Landmarks

One sight you definitely can’t miss while visiting Dublin is the famous Giants Causeway – According to legend, the remains of a causeway built by a giant; actually the extraordinary result of volcanic activity millions of years ago.

Horrible History

Dublin’s past is a fascinating and sometimes gruesome one, and there’s no better place to hear about it than in the city itself! On a Dublin Ghost Tour you’ll experience what life was like in the city 600 years ago, when Dublin was ravaged by the plague, complete with ghastly tour guide!

Sightseeing made easy

There’s so much to see and do in Dublin, it can be a little hard to find the best way of fitting it all in. Taking a Dublin CitySightseeing Bus will get you to all the city’s major landmarks and attractions with minimum fuss and without resorting to google maps!

Kids will especially love the Viking Splash Tours - sightseeing that’s half on dry land and half on water – and all in the same amphibious vehicle!
