Top Things To Do in Rome

Historical Landmarks

One of the world’s most famous historical cities, Rome’s ancient monuments are possibly the number one reason to visit. From the 2000-year-old Pantheon to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, Rome’s history is a fascinating journey.

Art & Culture

With an artistic heritage dating back to Etruscan times, Rome is one of the world’s great art cities, and the art here definitely isn’t locked away from view - it’s all around you! Some of the greatest artists of all time lived and worked in Rome, from Raphael to Caravaggio and Michelangelo’s famous Sistine Chapel ceiling is a must-see.

Fun and Family Time

Rome is a great destination for families – how better to get the kids excited about history than discovering Ancient Rome where it all happened? It’s also heaven for parents with fussy eaters – few children are likely to turn down pizza, pasta and ice-cream for dinner!

Visit The Vatican

Queues to visit The Vatican are notoriously long, so we always recommend to book a Skip-the-line Vatican Tour to save a painfully long wait (and more time to enjoy another gelato!)

Romance

Filled with delicious food that’s perfect for sharing, beautiful scenery, stunning architecture and something new to discover at every turn, the Eternal City is the perfect place to whisk your loved one for a romantic break.

Eating & Drinking

Anyone who’s read ”Eat, Pray, Love” will remember the author’s constant battle against Rome’s gastronomic temptations! Food and wine are central to Rome’s social life, to which the hundreds of pizzerias, trattorias, restaurants and gelaterie that crowd the city centre are a constant testament!
