Getting Around in Bodrum

Dolmus Bus
  • These “mini-buses” are a frequent and cheap way of getting around in Bodrum.
  • All Dolmus buses leave and return to the bus station in Bodrum,
  • Dolmus buses don’t have stops - they can be flagged down anywhere on the street!
  • They are usually colour-coded by destination, have their destination shown on the front and fares displayed above the windscreen.
Taxi
  • Taxis are fairly cheap for a short journey, but can become quite expensive for longer journeys so it may be worth negotiating a fare before hand.
  • Taxi fares may also be more expensive during the night than in daytime.
Car
There are plenty of international and local car rental companies located around Bodrum, and car hire is a great way to explore the city and beyond at your own pace.
