Fancy seeing what’s beneath the waves without getting wet? Perfect for families of all ages, the Submarine Safari takes you on an air-conditioned adventure to the underwater world around Puerto Calero!

Step on board one of the most sophisticated tourist submarines in the world for a dive beneath the waves which takes you to places previously explored only by experienced divers.

The Submarine Safari experience begins with complimentary pick-up from the resorts of Costa Teguise, Puerto Del Carmen and Playa Blanca, from where you’ll be taken to Puerto Calero to board the submarine.

You’ll be shown to your personal seat which is right in front of a large viewing port, ensuring you have the very best view possible of the underwater world outside the sub.

Each viewing port has its own TV screen which cleverly shows alternative viewing angles of the scene outside.

It also includes a digital display with fascinating information about the submarine itself.

The sub will dive to a depth of around 100ft (30m) beneath the Atlantic Ocean which is always teeming with colourful marine life of all shapes, colours and sizes.

A diver will often swim down to the submarine with food for the fish, always a popular occurrence for passengers and fish alike!

A dive tour guide is on hand at all times to answer any questions about the submarine itself, or any marine life you may have seen or hope to see!

After your Submarine Safari, back on terra firma, you’ll be awarded a personalised Diving Certificate as the perfect memento of a fascinating experience.
